Today Agadir and all its suburbs have more than one million inhabitants. It was virtually rebuilt in the 60's after a devastating killing earthquake that destroyed more than half of the city and one third of the population. Despite a relatively moderate magnitude (less than six on the Richter scale), this earthquake is still considered one of the most destructive of our century, especially because of the poor quality of construction at this time.

So the city was rebuilt and many resorts have sprung up, equipped with the latest materials that conform to earthquake standards. Agadir offers you over 20 km of sandy beaches and a 5 km pedestrian promenade lined with many modern restaurants, bars and hotels enjoying the best Weather of Agadir.

Around Agadir there are many golden sandy beaches such as: Tikida beach, Amaldil beach where you will find no less than three 18-hole golf courses overlooking the ocean and many hotels offering all kinds of activities, nautical sports, spa circuits and numerous beach clubs for the elders and younger.

With over 340 days of sunshine a year, Agadir weather is one of the main attractions for tourists in search of exotics closed to Europe. Located along the Atlantic coast, Agadir will benefit from a relatively temperate oceanic climate. Winters are mild with occasional days of rain and summers are relatively dry with the heat quite bearable rarely exceeding 28 ° C. The presence of the ocean, the proximity of the Gulf Stream current and constant winds from the northeast (trade wind) make that the city will never be overwhelmed with stifling heat like Paris in summer.
